I thought June 2017 was challenging with the rain and wind, but this year mother nature upped the ante with snow.

I just got my 1st place certificate for the June 2017 VHF Contest (Single Operator Portable).

This was the contest to remember…and not for the reasons you’d think. It was not a fun one, but I stuck it out despite the problems…and I’m glad I did.

I just received my certificate for the January VHF Contest.

This year the contest was a lot more challenging. Rain and wind and some more rain. But it turned out to be our best yet.

I just received my certificate for the September VHF Contest.

I found the time to run the 222 spring sprint this year. It went better than I thought.

My mailbox had a surprise in it. I wasn’t expecting this.

We worked this contest pretty hard and it paid off. Two of us stayed on the hill until the very end. Results below.

This was a last minute decision to run during the January VHF Contest, but it turned out pretty good.
